1. Who We Are

SellSignal is a product of Rise Up Labs LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use SellSignal at sellsignal.app.

2. What We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and name.

Payment information: If you subscribe on the web, payment is processed by our payment processor. If you subscribe in the iOS app, the purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store and our subscription-management service tells us whether your subscription is active. We never see or store your card number. We receive a customer or subscription identifier and the subscription status only.

Analysis history: When you run an analysis, we store the type of analysis, the cryptocurrency symbol, and the result. This allows us to show you your history and improve the product.

Usage data: We collect information about how you use the service (pages visited, features used, and analysis counts) to enforce rate limits and improve the product.

Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device type collected automatically by our hosting provider and our privacy-friendly web analytics. In the iOS app we collect the device model, operating system version, and app version through our analytics and crash-reporting services.

Sign-in providers: If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive an identity token containing your email address (Apple may give us a private relay address instead of your real one) and your name.

Positions and plans: The cryptocurrency positions, exit plans, commitments, price alerts, and any reasons you write when you deviate from a plan. We store these so we can track your plan and send you decision reminders.

Notification data: If you turn on push notifications in the iOS app, we store a push notification token and a device identifier so we can deliver decision pings and the daily brief to that device. Disabling notifications or signing out removes the token.

Product analytics: We use a product analytics service to record product events on the web and in the iOS app (for example analyses created, plans shared, screens viewed), linked to your account identifier, so we can understand which features are used.

Diagnostics: The iOS app sends crash reports and a small sample of performance traces to our crash-reporting service. These include your account identifier and email address so we can investigate a problem you report.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide the SellSignal service and run your analyses
• To manage your account, subscription, and billing through our payment processor on the web and through the App Store in the iOS app
• To enforce usage limits (free tier: 3 analyses/day; pro tier: 100/day)
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, receipts)
• To improve the service, understanding which features are used most
• To comply with legal obligations
• To deliver the push notifications you opted into and to keep your subscription status in sync between the web and the iOS app

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising or share it with data brokers.

4. Third-Party Services

SellSignal relies on the following categories of service providers to operate. Each provider is bound by its own privacy terms and receives only the data needed for its function:

• Hosting, database, and authentication providers: store your account data, positions, plans, and analysis history and process web requests, which may include your IP address and request logs.
• Payment processors: handle card payments on the web; purchases made in the iOS app are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your card details.
• AI model providers: generate analyses from the cryptocurrency symbol and market context only; no personally identifiable information is sent.
• Market data providers: return price and market data for the symbols you look up.
• Caching and rate-limiting infrastructure: holds temporary cached data and usage counts.
• Mobile app services: subscription management for App Store purchases, product analytics, crash reporting, and push notification delivery, each receiving only the data described in section 2.

5. Cookies

SellSignal uses session cookies to keep you logged in. These are set by our authentication system and are strictly necessary for the service to function. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

Our web analytics uses a privacy-friendly, cookie-free approach to measure page visits. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

The iOS app does not use cookies. It keeps your sign-in session in secure storage on your device until you sign out.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and analysis history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted within 30 days. Analysis data may be retained in anonymized, aggregated form for product improvement purposes.

Push tokens are deleted when you turn off notifications, sign out, or delete your account. Subscription entitlement records are kept until account deletion has fully completed so that a deleted account can never be charged. Crash reports are retained for 90 days and product analytics events for up to 12 months.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Deletion: Delete your account yourself from Settings on the web or in the iOS app, or request that we delete your account and associated data (the “right to be forgotten”)
• Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate data
• Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
• Opt-out: Opt out of any non-essential communications

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@sellsignal.app. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Children

SellSignal is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security in our database, and access controls. However, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will notify you by email. Your continued use of SellSignal after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
